"The timing was frustrating"
I was really looking forward to the show, but the timing made the whole experience a bit frustrating. It started late, and the breaks felt kind of unorganized, which made it hard to stay into it. I just wish they had stuck to the schedule better. By the end, I felt more annoyed than entertained

"Worked okay, but wondering if others found it a bit clunky too"
I bought tickets through San Diego Symphony and everything did go through in the end, so that was a relief. The site just felt a little slow and confusing in a few places, especially the seat map, which took a bit to load. I also had to pause and double check the fees before checking out because it wasn’t super clear at first. I got my confirmation email without any issues, so overall it wasn’t a bad experience. I’m just curious if other people had the same slowdown or if it was just me, because the process could definitely be smoother
"Parking felt like a bait and switch"
The parking situation kind of ruined the night for us. It felt like one of those bait-and-switch moments where you think getting there will be simple, but then you’re driving around forever trying to figure out where to go. The signs weren’t helpful at all, spots were hard to find, and we ended up having to walk way farther than we expected. By the time we got inside, we were already annoyed.
"My gut said it wasn’t very clean"
I don’t know, the place just didn’t feel that clean to me. The seats and floors seemed dirty, and I usually trust my instinct with stuff like that.

"Bathroom Situation Was a Joke"
The bathroom lines were ridiculous. I spent way too much of the night just waiting around, and it totally killed the vibe. Whoever planned the restroom setup was a complete clown.

"I do genuinely like the music, so I’m..."
I do genuinely like the music, so I’m not trying to be overly negative here. I just figured if they were promoting community involvement, there would be a little more follow-through. I reached out to ask about local programs and it took a while to hear back, and the response felt generic. Maybe I was expecting too much, but it would be nice to see them be a bit more active and connected locally

"Food and drinks were kind of a letdown"
I went to a show and, for some reason, the food and drink situation was way more frustrating than I expected. The lines were long, the options were limited, and everything felt overpriced for what it was. I ended up just getting a basic drink and skipping food altogether.
The music itself was fine, but for a nice night out, I was hoping the food and beverage setup would be better. For some reason, that part really dragged the whole experience down and made the night feel more annoying than it needed to be.

"Mostly smooth and easy to figure out"
I went to a San Diego Symphony event it was well organized overall. Getting in was easy, the signs were actually helpful, and the staff were pointing people in the right direction, like where to enter, where to scan tickets, where certain sections were, that kind of thing. The lines moved fine for the most part too. It only felt a little packed around the bathrooms and drink areas before the show started, especially with everyone trying to grab a water, a cocktail, use the restroom, find friends, check their seats, all at the same time. But finding our seats was simple, and once we were settled it was a really smooth night. A few small things could be better, but nothing that ruined the experience.

"Organized Night Out, Just a Slow Exit"
I went to a San Diego Symphony show, and overall the crowd control was handled really well. The lines kept moving at a decent pace, and the staff were easy to find whenever we needed to ask something, which made the whole evening feel less stressful.
Getting into the venue felt organized, with people directing traffic and helping with seating so there wasn’t much confusion or pushing around. It’s one of those things you don’t always notice when it’s done well, but it really shapes the mood of the night and lets you focus on why you’re there in the first place.
The only reason I’d knock it down a bit is that leaving after the show got backed up and took longer than expected. It wasn’t a huge problem, just a slow stretch at the end, but the rest of the experience was smooth and left me feeling like the night was well cared for overall

"I went to an outdoor show the whole..."
I went to an outdoor show the whole weather situation felt really poorly handled. I get that nobody can control the weather, obviously, but when you’re hosting an outdoor event, you kind of have to assume it might get cold or rainy and have some sort of clear plan ready. There weren’t really any helpful updates, or at least none that were easy to find or understand, and there definitely weren’t enough covered areas for the amount of people there. The staff seemed confused too, like they were trying to be nice but didn’t actually know what they were supposed to tell everyone. So we basically just sat there getting colder and damper while waiting to figure out what was happening. For what the tickets cost, I expected them to be much more organized and prepared. It ended up being a really frustrating night

"Entry was fine, but something felt a little off"
Getting in was okay overall, but the security line moved slowly. It wasn’t a huge deal, but something felt a bit off with how the entry process was being handled.

"We went as a family, and it felt..."
We went as a family, and it felt a bit too stiff for kids. There wasn’t much to help younger ones understand what was going on, and the ushers seemed irritated anytime my son even whispered. The music itself was really nice, but I wouldn’t call the experience family-friendly. I also tried emailing with a question beforehand, and the replies felt like they were written by robots, which didn’t help much.

"I really wanted to like the San..."
I really wanted to like the San Diego Symphony more, but the program lineup just didn’t grab me. To be fair, I’m definitely biased toward shows that mix things up a bit, more contemporary pieces, guest artists, crossover concerts, that kind of thing.
From what I saw, there’s still a lot of traditional classical programming, which I know plenty of people love. It’s just that every time I checked the schedule, it felt kind of samey to me, and I didn’t see much that made me excited to buy tickets.
For the price, I expected more options or at least a few fresher ideas in the mix. I’m sure it’s great if you’re mainly into classic symphony programs, but it’s just not my thing. One star from me...

"Totally Loved Guessing If My Payment Was Safe"
I didn’t feel very secure using the site, especially during checkout. There wasn’t enough clear safety or payment protection info before I was supposed to hand over my details, which was super reassuring, obviously. Not exactly a great experience

"Donation page was a pain"
I tried to make a donation, but the site kept sending me in circles and never really let me finish. After about 10 minutes I just gave up. I don’t think I was charged, so I’m not worried about that, but the whole process was frustrating.

"Good Show, but a Bit Overpriced"
I had a nice time overall, the concert was enjoyable and the venue itself is nice. That said, considering the price we paid, it didn’t really feel like the best value. The tickets were already on the expensive side, and once you add the extra fees and parking, it adds up fast. I’m glad I went, but i’m not sure I’d pay that much again for the experience. Maybe I’d consider cheaper seats next time, but overall it felt a little overpriced
"Helpful enough before the show"
I got the emails before the event with the main stuff I needed, like where to park and what time to show up. It was explained clearly, not fancy or anything, just enough to know what was going on. I did have to poke around the site a bit to find one detail, which was kind of annoying, but overall it helped.

"Seats were comfy"
The seats were comfy enough for me, at least for the time I was there. Not sure how they’d feel on a longer visit or anything, but I didn’t have any complaints

"Surprisingly Clear Sound Everywhere"
I wasn’t sure if I was just getting lucky with my seat, but the sound was clear everywhere I tried, even way up in the top sections. I expected it to be a little muffled or distant, but it was much better than I thought it would be...
